Policy benefits
In addition to what will hopefully be competitive premiums (if you try them, let us know how you get on), policy benefits include cover at club rallies and when on static display, no excess, unlimited mileage, a free agreed value upfront, spare and dismantled parts cover, salvage retention rights, third party extension on other machines, up to £100,000 worth of legal expenses cover, and up to 10% off owners’ club membership fees.
A spokesman was heard to say:
“We’re really committed to making life as easy as possible for owners of older and classic Suzuki machines; it’s why we launched our Vintage Parts Programme and why we’re delighted to now be able to offer Vintage Insurance policies, too. New bike sales are obviously a big focus for any manufacturer, but we also know how many people own or are looking for that classic purchase, and how popular the ownership of older machines still is. But we also know it comes with its challenges, like parts supply, and also finding an insurance policy that gives you what you need, and hopefully that is where our new scheme will come in.”
