Short film: Old Dogs, New Tricks

Old Dogs, New Tricks is a short film commissioned by the three brothers whose story it tells. It’s a story of what can be achieved if you have an idea and the will to realise it. In this case, a modern twist on three ’60s greats: Triumph Bonneville, Triumph Trident and BSA A65 Lightning.

Conceived and built by the three brothers with input from Metal Malarkey, P&M Motorcycles, Ed G Cranks, Maxton Suspension and Robert Tupper Paint Refinishing, these fantastic machines are the result of an incredible amount of hard work, perseverance and, one imagines, grazed knuckles.

I particularly like this film as it neatly encapsulates what OilySmudges.com is all about: what can be achieved when you dare to get your hands dirty…
